About Conway::..

“I love the fact that I can play a song that fits my mood, and then all of a sudden, there is a room full of people that know exactly how I feel.” For trance producer and DJ Michael Conway, this intimate relationship with music is what has driven his success.A native of Los Angeles, Michael Conway is now in San Francisco producing tracks and remixes with a renewed passion. He is signed to Televisionary Records, and is currently working on the release of his increasingly popular progressive trance single, “Autumn, featuring Catherine.”

Michael Conway’s “Autumn” was played on Blank & Jones’ radio show in Germany, The Mix, and they played it live when they came to San Francisco’s Ruby Skye on March 21, 2008. Marcus Schossow played another of Michael Conway’s singles, “Vulgaris,” on his radio show, Tone Diary, on March 20, 2008.

At the age of 12, Michael Conway got his first taste of electronic music when he heard 808 State’s “Pacific State.” From there, his exposure and inspiration from this genre of music expanded to Daft Punk and Bad Boy Bill. “I really wanted to start DJing after hearing Bad Boy Bill,” Michael Conway remembers. At first, he just wanted to DJ, with no definite plans to produce.

Now, having had a couple of years away from DJing and serious producing, Michael Conway is back with a new enthusiasm for taking his music career to greater heights, and if there is one message that Michael Conway wants his listeners to understand, it’s that, “Music isn’t enhanced by drugs – it is a drug.”
